Wheat straw

In most of Asian countries wheat straw, serves as a staple feed for farm animals, particularly ruminants like cattle, sheep, cows and goats. Even in most parts of Europe, Wheat straw and hay is considered essential constituent of farm animal feed. Their digestive systems, with the help of rumen microbes, can efficiently break down the complex fibers in straw, extracting essential nutrients.

Wheat straw is the dried stalks left after wheat grains are harvested. It has a light golden hue and is commonly used for animal bedding, composting, and as a natural material in craftwork. Known for its biodegradability, wheat straw can also be incorporated into eco-friendly packaging, mulch, and erosion control. Its light, fibrous texture makes it versatile for various applications.
